Rekindle the Diya
Take a moment to breathe in and out
Close your eyes and live, in this moment, without any doubt.
Feel the power, the energy flow through
The warmth of the Diya shines and washes over you.
Life is stressful, life is hard, uncertainty blocks out the sun,
And moments of joy are fleeting, there's Maya in every one.
Only peace only love only spirit penetrate illusion,
There's confusion in life the music is rife with excuses.
You can't take the pain back, but you can change your path
You’ve seen the world, now let the circle of life bring you back.
I believe that your need to feel more free is grounded in virtue and honesty
And life is too short to waste it in hope and delusion.
But life is all we have, our being and our deeds
An eternal love is lived, then perceived in meditative dreams.
Without Radha, no Krishna, and she needs him too, the stories remind us that real love is true
And love must be lived, shared and given, for meaning and purpose to perfuse.
Waiting in life for things to change and people to improve
Is painful, frustrating, but better than waiting for this life to end with hope for a new.
You can't take the pain back, but you can change your path
You’ve seen the world, now let the circle of life bring you back.
Now let’s make this vow together: share love, strength, and food,
We shall be of one mind, make love all we do.
I shall be the Samaveda, the Rigveda will be you.
With children as our blessings, our home will be tranquil and true.
You can't take the pain back, but you can change your path
You’ve seen the world, now let the circle of life bring you back.
